Kaalia of the Vast 1 (Commander Deck) by GandalfTheBleu

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a classic Kaalia of the Vast aggressive-aggro strategy built around cheating high-CMC Angels, Demons, and Dragons into play tapped and attacking for free. The primary game plan is to ramp into an early Kaalia, then use her attack trigger to deploy game-ending threats like Master of Cruelties, Aurelia, the Warleader, Scourge of the Throne, and damage doublers such as Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and Twinflame Tyrant. Extra combat phases and sustain from Helm of the Host enable one-turn kills. The deck also packs a robust recursion package (Reya Dawnbringer, Liesa, Forgotten Archangel, Reanimate, Victimize) and a suite of protection spells and board wipes to keep Kaalia and her army online. With no counterspells, the arsenal is fully sorcery-speed reactive, relying on preemptive protection and cleanup wipes. ---
