Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads a Boros Dwarf-tribal deck that turns every Dwarf entry into Treasure and every Treasure into momentum. The primary plan is to develop cheap Dwarves and Equipment early, cast Thorin on curve, then use the resulting artifact tokens to fuel wide combat swings and direct-damage payoffs. The deck's best closers are Dain of the Ancient Halls, who domes each opponent for your Dwarf count, and Smaug the Magnificent, whose haste and Treasure-based shot provide reach. The deck is a fair, value-heavy midrange build: no infinite combos, but a dense package of repeatable Dwarf triggers, Equipment recursion, and artifact-token engines that grind into a critical-mass turn. Magda, Brazen Outlaw functions as a hidden commander, converting tapped Dwarves into both mana and five-Treasure artifact tutors.
