Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Spellslinger and Aristocrats strategy led by Silverquill, the Disputant. The game plan revolves around generating cheap creature tokens, deploying low-cost targeted instants and sorceries, and using the commander's casualty 1 ability to double their impact. Doubled spells trigger repartee abilities on creatures like Melancholic Poet and Informed Inkwright, rapidly amassing flying Inkling tokens, draining opponents' life totals, and growing the board with +1/+1 counters. The deck maintains steady card flow through sacrifice draw spells and engines such as Breena, the Demagogue and Mangara, the Diplomat. A robust removal package handles opposing threats efficiently by duplicating removal spells with casualty. Once an evasive army is assembled alongside anthems like Kinbinding or copied pump spells, the deck overwhelms the table through evasive combat damage and life drain by Turn 8, while leaning on cheap instant-speed protection to shield key permanents.
