Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros Voltron and combat-combo strategy led by Cloud, Planet's Champion. The game plan focuses on deploying explosive mana acceleration, casting Cloud, and attaching potent Equipment cards at a reduced cost. Because Cloud gains double strike and indestructible during its controller's turn while equipped, it immediately turns any weapon into a game-ending threat. Doubled combat damage triggers from weapons like Buster Sword, The Reaver Cleaver, and the Sword cycle rapidly drown opponents in cards, mana, and lethal commander damage. A comprehensive suite of equipment tutors ensures seamless access to the right utility for every situation. To close games reliably, the deck incorporates lethal multi-combat lines via Aggravated Assault, Godo, Bandit Warlord with Helm of the Host, and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar to damage all opponents at once. Robust protection spells and proactive silence effects shield the strategy during critical combat phases.
