Deck overview

This Abzan deck uses toughness-matters mechanics to convert cheap, high-toughness defenders into formidable attackers. Commanded by Felothar the Steadfast, the deck bypasses defender restrictions, assigns combat damage using toughness, and converts 0-power walls into massive card draw engines. The list pairs zero- and low-mana walls like Shield Sphere and Wall of Blossoms with heavy beaters like Ancient Adamantoise and The Walls of Ba Sing Se. It breaks parity using asymmetric sweepers like Slaughter the Strong and Dusk // Dawn, alongside stax pieces like Meekstone and Noetic Scales, which lock out or wipe high-power opposing creatures while leaving the defender army untouched. With deep redundancy from cards like Doran, the Siege Tower and Assault Formation, the deck consistently establishes a lethal combat clock by Turn 4 and closes out the table within two response cycles.
