Commander: Willie Lumpkin, Postman

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a UW Equipment/Voltron strategy helmed by Willie Lumpkin, Postman, whose unblockable status and combat-damage draw engine provide consistent card advantage and a political pacify effect. The primary plan is to suit up Willie with a massive arsenal of equipment and auras-Colossus Hammer, Aettir and Priwen, Genji Glove-and use extra combat steps and double strike to eliminate opponents through commander damage. The deck leans heavily on a dense redundancy of 24+ attachable permanents, tutors to find them, and cost reducers/cheats like Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and Forge Anew. There are no infinite combos; victory comes through overwhelming combat inevitability and a deep protection suite of umbra armors and single-target spells.
