Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Zombie tribal strategy that combines aggressive creature swarms, token generation, discard synergies, and aristocrat drain engines. Led by Temmet, Naktamun's Will, the deck builds an early army of resilient Zombies using low-cost creatures, embalm and eternalize mechanics, and token generators like Dreadhorde Invasion and Headless Rider. Once Temmet enters the battlefield, attacking triggers a loot effect that draws a card and discards a card, simultaneously buffing all friendly Zombies by +1/+1 for each card drawn that turn. The deck pressures opponents through evasive combat damage granted by lords and keywords such as menace, flying, and swampwalk. In addition to combat damage, life-drain engines like Wayward Servant, Corpse Knight, Diregraf Captain, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel punish opponents as creatures enter and die. Graveyard recursion cards such as Rot Hulk, The Scarab God, and Sun Titan provide resilience against board wipes, allowing the deck to rebuild quickly and close out the game.
