Deck overview

Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow is a Dimir Ninja tempo deck that wins by stacking high-mana-value cards on top of the library, then draining the entire table when its Ninjas connect. The primary plan is to land an evasive one-drop, ninjutsu in Yuriko on turn two or three, and use top manipulation (Sensei's Divining Top, Scroll Rack, Brainstorm) to repeatedly flip Draco, Blightsteel Colossus, or Ulamog for 10+ life loss per trigger. Secondary paths include cheating out Blightsteel or Ulamog via Satoru Umezawa's ninjutsu and using Sakashima's Student or Thousand-Faced Shadow to multiply Yuriko-style triggers for a single combat kill. The deck is heavily commander-dependent; without Yuriko's drain, its Ninjas mostly draw cards and cannot keep pace with opponents.
