Deck overview

An Izzet Pirate theft deck built around Zara, Renegade Recruiter. The primary plan is to attack with Zara, steal a creature from the defending player's hand for one swing, and back that up with one-turn theft spells and Pirate-tribal value. Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator is a hidden commander/engine: his treasure creation plus the many Pirate enters triggers keep the mana and board moving. Secondary paths are mass theft via Mob Rule, advantage through Vehicles and card draw, and a slow ping finish from Lightning-Rig Crew and Makeshift Munitions. The deck is tempo-oriented and needs repeated attacks rather than a compact combo.
