Deck overview

Rocco, Street Chef commands a proactive Naya strategy that turns casting spells and playing lands from exile into an engine of +1/+1 counters and Food tokens. While Rocco offers symmetrical card exile, the deck breaks parity through cards like Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival, Kami of Celebration, and Wild-Magic Sorcerer. Artifact pingers including Reckless Fireweaver, Ingenious Artillerist, and Hedron Detonator convert every generated Food token into direct damage across the table. Mana engines such as Jaheira, Friend of the Forest and Night of the Sweets' Revenge turn Food tokens into ramp, setting up team-wide combat buffs or large spell turns. The deck also contains a compact infinite combo in Rosie Cotton of South Lane paired with Basking Broodscale or Herd Baloth to create infinite tokens and counters. Rebound protection spells and efficient spot removal keep the engine online until it overwhelms opponents.
