Deck overview

This is a Gruul Dragons deck designed to chain Dragons ahead of curve using the Background pair of Ganax, Astral Hunter and Acolyte of Bahamut. Every Dragon cast creates Treasures, which fund the next Dragon. The deck's primary win condition is flying combat damage, accelerated by Atarka, World Render's double strike, Scourge of the Throne's extra combat, and Drakuseth, Maw of Flames's attack-triggered removal. Enter-trigger pings from Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas act as secondary damage, chipping away at opponents and clearing blockers. The deck is a ramp-and-value midrange list that wins through overwhelming board presence, with no true infinite combos.
