Deck overview

This deck is a Jund Food Aristocrats engine built around Korvold, Fae-Cursed King. It pairs heavy Food and token production with sacrifice triggers to generate massive card advantage and rapid table-wide life drain. In the early game, the deck accelerates mana with cheap dorks and land ramp while generating Food, Clue, and Treasure tokens through cards like Gilded Goose, Tough Cookie, and Tireless Provisioner. On Turn 4, casting Korvold establishes the primary value engine, immediately drawing cards and growing into a massive flying threat upon sacrificing permanents. By Turn 5, Korvold attacks alongside aristocrat drainers such as Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice, and Mayhem Devil, converting token sacrifices into lethal pressure. The deck also features a compact infinite draw and token loop using Peregrin Took and Experimental Confectioner. While the deck possesses immense card flow, its reliance on a high-cost commander without native ward or hexproof makes it vulnerable to well-timed spot removal and board wipes.
