Format: Commander

Commander: Vren, the Relentless

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Vren, the Relentless is a rat-tribal engine that weaponizes opponents' creature deaths: every creature that would die under an opponent's control is exiled and turned into an end-step Rat, letting removal spells double as token generation. The primary plan is to keep Vren alive, use spot removal and board wipes to fuel its trigger, then run over the table with Coat of Arms, Door of Destinies, Ashcoat, and a large Rat army. Marrow-Gnawer and Ashcoat serve as hidden lieutenants, providing an exponential backup engine if Vren is repeatedly removed. Secondary paths are Karumonix's toxic 1 poison kill, Ayara's drain triggers, and Bolas's Citadel card flow. No deck in the list includes an infinite combo.
