Deathtouch Everywhere by Felix497

Format: Commander

Commander: The Serpent Society

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Serpent Society is a Golgari deathtouch tribal deck that wins by stacking poison counters through combat and proliferate. The commander is a 3/4 deathtouch body with a unique Ward that taxes any opposing removal spell with five poison counters - a real weapon in a poison deck, since two such attempts kill the caster - and a death trigger that turns every deathtouch creature's death into a one-sided edict, pairing beautifully with Grave Pact to strip opposing boards. The primary clock is Fynn, the Fangbearer, converting every unblocked deathtouch hit into two poison counters, accelerated further by Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, Doubling Season, and a deep proliferate package (Evolution Sage, Bloated Contaminator, Smell Fear, Karn's Bastion). A compact two-card infinite combo - Bloodthirsty Conqueror plus South Wind Avatar - turns any incidental lifegain into infinite life loss, while Aphelia, Viper Whisperer, Unstoppable Slasher, and Grievous Wound provide half-life closing speed.
