Deck overview

This deck executes a dedicated five-color Polymorph strategy helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The construction runs zero small creature cards; every creature and planeswalker in the 99 is an expensive 6-10 CMC bomb designed to take over the game. The early turns focus on deploying 2-CMC mana rocks and cheap, noncreature token generators such as Bitterblossom, Skrelv's Hive, and Black Market Connections. On Turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and immediately uses his -3 ability to exile a token and cheat a massive threat like Archon of Cruelty, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, or Vilis, Broker of Blood onto the board. Topdeck manipulators like Scroll Rack and Brainstorm ensure that naturally drawn high-cost creatures are safely shuffled back into the library. Supported by efficient white spot exile and sweeping board wipes, the deck protects its board state and overwhelms the table through relentless aerial combat and crushing end-step triggers.
