Format: Commander

Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a BR Goblin tribal value/combo deck. The primary plan is to flood the board with hasty Goblins and drain opponents through The Great Goblin's counter-trigger alongside Impact Tremors, Purphoros, and Pashalik Mons. The faster secondary path is the Gev-Redcap persist loop: once Redcap has dealt damage, Gev's entering-trigger counter cancels persist's -1 counter, so Redcap can be sacrificed infinitely to Goblin Bombardment or Phyrexian Altar for infinite damage. The commander supplies pings and impulse draw from dead Goblins but is not required for the combo. Gev is effectively the hidden commander, with Conspicuous Snoop/Kiki lines as backup.
