Deck overview

This mono-green deck is commanded by Gargos, Vicious Watcher and focuses on accelerating mana to cast massive Hydra creatures while controlling the board through fight triggers. Gargos acts as both a cost reducer—shaving {4} generic mana off every Hydra spell—and a repeatable removal engine that fights opposing creatures whenever any spell targets a friendly permanent. The deck backs up this core game plan with +1/+1 counter doublers like Branching Evolution and Unbound Flourishing, explosive power-based draw spells like Rishkar's Expertise, and overrun finishers such as Overwhelming Stampede and Finale of Devastation. While it lacks stack interaction and stax locks, the deck produces immense combat pressure and substantial card velocity once its commander resolves.
