Rags to Riches by user1435471

Format: Commander

Commander: Vihaan, Goldwaker

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Vihaan, Goldwaker is a Mardu treasure-tribal deck: its core plan is to produce a critical mass of Treasure tokens and then animate every one into a hasty 3/3 Assassin at the start of combat, creating an overwhelming artifact-creature alpha strike on the same turn the Treasures are made. A secondary path is Revel in Riches, winning through the ten-Treasure upkeep trigger. Magda, Brazen Outlaw acts as a hidden commander, generating Treasures from tapped Dwarves and tutoring Goldspan Dragon or Mithril Coat into play. Vihaan is the linchpin: without him Treasures are only mana, so the deck focuses on curving him out and protecting him with cheap indestructible, ward, and hexproof effects while assembling a large token board.
