Toph - WIP by Ratik

Format: Commander

Commander: Toph, Hardheaded Teacher

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Toph, Hardheaded Teacher commands a dynamic Gruul lands-and-spells deck that weaponizes land animation, spell velocity, and landfall burn. Toph converts every spell cast into an earthbent land creature with haste that safely returns to the battlefield tapped if destroyed. The deck rapidly develops its mana base using green ramp spells and land sacrifice engines like Harrow and Crop Rotation. You win by overwhelming opponents with an aggressive army of animated lands buffed by Eldrazi Monument and Hardened Scales, or by detonating tables with noncombat damage engines like Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle, Keeper of Secrets, and Splendid Reclamation after massive spell cascades.
