Deck overview

This Gwenna, Eyes of Gaea deck is an explosive mono-green stompy and big-mana archetype. It uses low-cost mana dorks to cast Gwenna on Turn 2, then leverages Gwenna's ability to tap for two mana and untap whenever a creature with power 5 or greater is cast. This mana acceleration quickly deploys enormous threats such as Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, Cultivator Colossus, and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus. Card advantage engines like Beast Whisperer, The Great Henge, and Garruk's Uprising maintain hand size as large creatures enter the battlefield. The deck can also execute an infinite mana loop using Umbral Mantle on Selvala, Heart of the Wilds or Fanatic of Rhonas, pumping them to infinite power and toughness. Board wipes and flying blockers represent the deck's main vulnerabilities, but anti-counter magic creatures and targeted hexproof provide reliable plan shielding.
