Deck overview

This deck is a five-color storm combo strategy built around Codie, Ravenous Codex and creatures with the prepare mechanic. It ramps in the opening turns using multi-color dorks such as Bloom Tender and Faeburrow Elder, deploying Codie on Turn 3. On Turn 4, the deck activates Codie to prepare its entire creature suite, then casts prepared spells that Codie automatically duplicates. When paired with untap engines like Chakram Retriever or Jeskai Ascendancy, casting prepared spells continuously untaps your mana producers and Codie. This loop generates infinite mana, draws the entire deck via duplicated draw spells, and repeatedly casts Emeritus of Conflict // Lightning Bolt or Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate to eliminate all opponents in a single decisive turn. While highly explosive, the deck relies heavily on creature permanents and vulnerable tap abilities, requiring careful sequencing around opposing spot removal.
