Format: Commander

Commander: Caesar, Legion's Emperor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Caesar, Legion's Emperor is the core engine, turning every attack into token creation, card draw, or direct damage. The deck is an aggressive Mardu tokens strategy that floods the board with small creatures and wins through commander damage via Caesar, combat with many tokens, or a critical mass of token synergies. It uses attack-trigger multiplication (Isshin, Windcrag Siege) and token doublers (Mondrak, Elspeth) to explode the board. While centered on Caesar's attack trigger, the deck has multiple independent token generators and anthem effects to keep applying pressure even if the commander is removed. It also accrues value through death triggers, card draw, and recursion to outlast opponents in attrition.
