Deck overview

This deck is commanded by Ragost, Deft Gastronaut, turning every artifact into Food and leveraging artifact sacrifices into table-wide direct damage. The game plan focuses on deploying low-cost artifacts and token generators such as Academy Manufactor, The Underworld Cookbook, and Weapons Manufacturing, then feeding those permanents into Ragost's burn ability. Mana acceleration from cost-reducers and sacrifice engines like Krark-Clan Ironworks and Crime Novelist fuels repeated activations, while lifegain triggers allow Ragost to untap at each end step. Graveyard recursion via Scrap Trawler, Myr Retriever, and Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle keeps the engine fueled through attrition. The deck also contains an infinite colorless mana combo with Basalt Monolith and Forsaken Monument. While resilient against single-target removal thanks to recursion, the deck is vulnerable to artifact sweepers and lacks stack-based countermagic.
