Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros token and combat strategy helmed by Otharri, Suns' Glory. The primary plan accelerates into Otharri on turn 4, immediately attacking to generate experience counters and attacking Rebel tokens. By turn 5, compounding anthems such as Cathars' Crusade, Goldnight Commander, and Neyali, Suns' Vanguard multiply token damage into an overwhelming board presence. The deck features built-in resilience because experience counters remain on the player permanently, and Otharri can reanimate directly from the graveyard by tapping a Rebel. To secure victory against interactive pods, the list incorporates land denial via Blood Moon and Armageddon, instant-speed protection like Deflecting Swat and Teferi's Protection, and an alternate infinite combat loop with Aurelia, the Warleader and Helm of the Host. The strategy excels at sustained, scaling combat pressure while forcing opponents to answer recursive threats.
