This Esper deck leverages Y'shtola, Night's Blessed as a central value engine and life-drain multiplier within a reactive control shell. Y'shtola rewards you for casting noncreature spells with mana value 3 or greater by burning each opponent for 2 damage, gaining 2 life, and drawing extra cards on end steps when life loss occurs. The deck controls the early game using premium removal such as Void Rend, Path to Exile, and Toxic Deluge, while developing steady mana and card advantage through Smothering Tithe, The One Ring, and Curiosity effects attached to the commander. The primary win condition is the classic two-card infinite combo of Exquisite Blood paired with Sanguine Bond or Enduring Tenacity. Once both pieces are assembled, any life gain or opponent life loss starts a lethal loop that drains the entire table instantly.
