Jegantha budget mutate by Galeforce342

Format: Commander

Commander: Jegantha, the Wellspring

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This five-color deck builds around the mutate mechanic, using Jegantha, the Wellspring to generate the wide spread of colored mana needed for mutate costs and five-color apex creatures. The game plan starts by deploying resilient, non-Human hexproof hosts such as Slippery Bogle and Gladecover Scout, then layering mutate triggers to generate overwhelming card advantage, removal, and board presence. The primary path to victory is combat damage from giant mutated creatures and token swarms generated by Auspicious Starrix and Cubwarden. The deck can also win abruptly through an infinite token combo using Mythos of Illuna and Dualcaster Mage.
