Deck overview

This Sultai deck leverages Homer, the Hermit to convert land drops into lethal bursts of mill. By combining Crabs and Changeling creatures with potent landfall triggers and doublers like Roaming Throne and Ancient Greenwarden, each land entry strips substantial chunks from opponents' libraries. An abundant mana base featuring 41 lands and 9 cheap ramp pieces ensures rapid mana acceleration and smooth color fixing. The deck reaches full assembly by turn 4 and initiates game-ending onset on turn 5 through explosive mass-landfall spells like Scapeshift, Lumra, Bellow of the Woods, and Splendid Reclamation, or through Nanogene Conversion turning every creature into a triggering Crab. With robust graveyard recursion through cards like Six and Ramunap Excavator, the engine recovers reliably from board wipes while maintaining independent backup lines like Bruvac the Grandiloquent with Maddening Cacophony.
