Commander: Sovereign Okinec Ahau

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Sovereign Okinec Ahau is a +1/+1-counter aggro deck built to make one combat snowball into a killing board. The primary plan is to put an early counter on a creature, attack, and use Okinec's trigger to put even more counters on every oversized creature. Hardened Scales, Kami of Whispered Hopes, and Branching Evolution turn each counter into several counters. Counters later become flying, trample, and lifelink through Abzan Falconer, Pridemalkin, and Abzan Battle Priest. Selvala and Kami add mana, while Kutzil and Tribute to the World Tree turn the big board into cards. There is no alternate face or hidden commander; Kutzil is the closest lieutenant. The team only needs one warrior unblocked/trampling to finish everyone.
