Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Izzet spellslinger storm deck built to abuse Ral, Monsoon Mage's cost reduction and the Bonus Round/Reiterate engine. The front face is the true commander; the back face's ultimate is a bonus, not the game plan. There is no hidden commander-Electro and Storm-Kiln Artist are mana engines, not alternate commanders. The primary win is generating infinite red mana with Bonus Round plus Reiterate plus a ritual, then killing with Grapeshot or Brain Freeze. Graveyard recursion, treasure makers, and a pile of looting/draw make the deck resilient and explosive, though it runs only 27 lands and has a narrow tutor suite. A turn-4 kill is possible with a perfect draw, but the median game finishes on turn 5.
