Deck overview

This is a mono-black sacrifice combo deck built to weaponize every death. Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER draws cards on sacrifice and drains opponents whenever another creature dies; repeatedly resolving that trigger transforms him into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel and creates a permanent emblem. The deck's primary plan is to assemble an infinite loop: Gravecrawler plus a mana-producing sacrifice outlet (Phyrexian Altar or Warren Soultrader) plus a drain trigger, usually Sephiroth's own ability. Nine tutors and a low 2.43 average mana value make the assembly fast and consistent. A secondary beatdown plan uses flyers and tokens, but the combo is the default route.
