Deck overview

Fynn, the Fangbearer commands a hyper-aggressive mono-green poison deck designed to close multiplayer games through lethal poison counters rather than traditional life totals. The strategy relies on a dense critical mass of one- and two-mana deathtouch creatures deployed in the earliest turns. Casting Fynn on Turn 2 enables immediate poison delivery, placing defending players on a blistering clock. Because deathtouch makes blocking unfavorable, opponents face a difficult choice between losing valuable blockers or accumulating deadly poison. Once initial poison counters are seeded across the table, the deck accelerates its win condition using targeted evasion tools such as Access Tunnel and Rogue's Passage, alongside efficient proliferate spells like Bloom Hulk and Smell Fear. A tight package of one-mana protection spells shields Fynn and key attackers from targeted removal. While vulnerable to sweeping board wipes and dependent on its commander, the deck presents an immediate, high-velocity threat that forces opponents to react from the game's earliest stages.
