Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is an aggressive tribal deck centered on Captain America, Team Leader. The core engine leverages Captain America's ability to grant immediate haste, vigilance, and +1/+1 counters to any Hero entering the battlefield. This allows the deck to bypass summoning sickness and apply rapid combat pressure while developing synergistic board states. Support cards like Director Nick Fury, SP//dr, Piloted by Peni, and Jarvis, Earth's Mightiest Butler ensure a steady stream of card replenishment upon casting or attacking with Heroes. As the board expands, combat multipliers such as War Machine, Avenging Arsenal, Captain America, Wings of Freedom, and Door of Destinies convert accumulated +1/+1 counters into lethal damage. High-impact asymmetric sweepers like Raise the Palisade and Urza's Ruinous Blast clear blockers while preserving the deck's legendary and Hero-based army to close games out.
