Captain Sisay - Legendary (current) by ClyDeft

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain Sisay

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Captain Sisay deck is a GW Legendary Tribal toolbox that leverages the commander's repeatable tutor ability to fetch silver-bullet legendary creatures and artifacts from the 99. The primary game plan is to deploy Sisay early, then use her activated ability each turn to find the perfect answer or threat for the current board state, ranging from Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite for board control to Avacyn, Angel of Hope for protection. The deck wins primarily through combat damage, using anthem effects like Kamahl, Heart of Krosa, Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite to turn a growing army of legendary creatures into lethal threats. Secondary paths include the Bruna, the Fading Light + Gisela, the Broken Blade meld into Brisela, Voice of Nightmares for a hard lock, and Toski, Bearer of Secrets for card advantage. The deck plays as a highly adaptable midrange strategy that can pivot between aggression and control based on the tutor target.
