Format: Commander

Commander: Omnath, Locus of Creation

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Omnath, Locus of Creation is the surface commander, but the deck is really built around Council of Reeds as a hidden combo engine: casting a noncreature spell before combat makes Council of Reeds double each turn. Once the Council count is high, Loki, Lord of Misrule turns every Council into a nonlegendary Omnath. With enough Omnaths, two land drops and one Trade Routes bounce/replay produce Omnath's third landfall, dealing lethal damage to all opponents. Backup lines with Sakashima, Vesuvan Duplimancy, Helm of the Host, and Season of Weaving can assemble Omnath copies more slowly. The main obstacle is a mana base of only forests trying to cast a four-color commander.
