Tegwyll by MYSTICPOTATO279

Format: Commander

Commander: Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Dimir Faerie tempo deck built around Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor. The primary plan is to flood the board with cheap Faerie tokens and flash Faeries, then use Tegwyll's anthem and death-trigger card draw to grind out card advantage while attacking with evasive fliers. Secondary paths include a Notorious Throng extra-turn kill, Faerie Artisans/Archmage of Echoes value copying, and a drain package with Obyra and Bloodchief Ascension. The commander is a force multiplier rather than a standalone engine; the deck can still play a flash-tempo game without him, but loses its anthem and draw engine. The hidden commander is Alela, Cunning Conqueror, who creates tokens on opponents' turns and goads blockers, enabling the same Faerie swarm plan from the command zone if Tegwyll is unavailable.
