Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is a dedicated Superfriends strategy led by Commodore Guff. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early mana rocks to accelerate Commodore Guff and an array of defensive pillowfort pieces, such as Pramikon, Sky Rampart and Norn's Annex. Once the battlefield is stabilized against opposing attacks, the deck deploys high-impact planeswalkers and counter-multiplying engines like Oath of Teferi, Flux Channeler, and Deepglow Skate. The deck creates a decisive threat around Turn 6 by stacking loyalty abilities, clearing opposing boards with asymmetric sweepers like Urza's Ruinous Blast, and burning the table with Chandra, Legacy of Fire and Commodore Guff. It closes games by Turn 8 through Dragon combat damage from Sarkhan the Masterless and direct planeswalker damage. The deck features strong board control and high redundancy across planeswalkers, though it remains vulnerable to nonland board sweepers due to a total lack of countermagic.
