Taxation is NOT Theft

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck executes a relentless group-slug and punish strategy centered on Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls. The commander turns mandatory opponent life loss into steady card draw and commander growth. Passive damage pieces such as Roiling Vortex, Underworld Dreams, and Spiteful Visions guarantee that opponents lose life on every turn, triggering Valgavoth repeatedly to refuel your hand. As opposing life totals dwindle under damage doublers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Bloodletter of Aclazotz, the deck transitions into lethal group-drain wheels or executes an instant-win combo combining Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Enduring Tenacity.
