"First Day in the UK" (Kamiz, Obscura Oculus) by Muddy

Format: Commander

Commander: Kamiz, Obscura Oculus

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Esper tempo/combat-damage deck built around Kamiz, Obscura Oculus. The plan is to attack every turn with small, evasive creatures - Blighted Agent, Looter il-Kor, Silent Hallcreeper, Inkmoth Nexus - using Kamiz to make one attacker unblockable and connive, while granting double strike to a second, lesser-power attacker. Satoru Umezawa acts as a hidden commander, giving every creature in hand ninjutsu and letting the deck cheat in bombs like Fallen Shinobi, Nashi, Moon Sage's Scion, and Shredder, Shadow Master after blockers are declared. Wins come through poison counters via Grafted Exoskeleton, Tainted Strike, and Phyresis, through life-halving triggers from Virtus the Veiled and Unstoppable Slasher, or through a Shredder token swarm that ends the table in one combat. The deck is interaction-dense but lacks tutors and mana acceleration, making its explosive lines inconsistent.
