See Clown?! Clown tricky by akagikai

Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kefka, Court Mage is a Grixis discard-and-draw engine that punishes opponents for discarding while digging toward two infinite combo finishes. The front face forces each player to discard and then draws cards equal to the number of card types discarded, feeding Waste Not, Bone Miser, Geth's Grimoire, Megrim, and Bloodchief Ascension. The back face rewards opponent life loss with cards, turning Vivi Ornitier and Psychosis Crawler into draw-based damage. The deck wins by generating infinite hasty Dualcaster tokens with Twinflame, or by looping Hullbreaker Horror, Sol Ring, and Mox Amber while Vivi Ornitier or Psychosis Crawler supplies the kill. There is no hidden commander: the front face is the build-around engine, and the back face is a payoff. Kefka accelerates digging but neither combo strictly requires him.
