Deck overview

This deck is a Jund Lands and Sacrifice midrange build commanded by Szarel, Genesis Shepherd. The strategy revolves around sacrificing fetchlands and lands through cards like Harrow, Springbloom Druid, and Riveteers Overlook, then replaying them directly from the graveyard using Szarel's static ability. Each sacrifice triggers Szarel to distribute +1/+1 counters equal to its power onto other creatures. The deck scales into the midgame with premier card draw engines such as The Gitrog Monster and Korvold, Fae-Cursed King. It converts land velocity into an overwhelming board presence through landfall token generators like Titania, Protector of Argoth, Omnath, Locus of Rage, and Rampaging Baloths, or explosive mass recursion from Splendid Reclamation. The deck closes games on Turn 7 through decisive combat overruns with Overwhelming Stampede, extra combat steps via Moraug, Fury of Akoum, or direct damage from Warstorm Surge.
