Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Grixis Curse control and enchantment attrition build commanded by Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Curses, sacrificing them via utility artifacts like Claws of Gix and Despotic Scepter, and letting Lynde return them attached to you at the end step. On your upkeep, Lynde reattaches these Curses to opponents, drawing two fresh cards per cycle. The deck leverages heavy constellation and upkeep payoffs such as Thoughtrender Lamia, Doomwake Giant, Court of Ambition, and Paradox Haze to systematically strip opponents of cards, creatures, and life. While the deck establishes resilient card flow and imposing stax-lite combat defenses with Propaganda and Silent Arbiter, its win condition is intentionally paced. Curses eliminate players sequentially via Curse of Misfortunes, Curse of Bloodletting, and Curse of Thirst, establishing inescapable late-game inevitability across prolonged turn cycles.
