Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai combat spellslinger and discard-aggro build led by Massimo, the Magician. The strategy focuses on stocking the graveyard with efficient 1-CMC instants and sorceries on early turns, then casting Massimo or evasive attackers to imprint those spells and copy them without paying mana costs whenever combat damage is dealt. Free spell casts trigger powerful payoff engines such as Jeskai Ascendancy, Docent of Perfection, Brallin, Skyshark Rider, and Spider-Man, New Champion, generating wide token boards, stat pumps, and table-wide burn. The deck runs a streamlined suite of mana rocks and cantrips that provide smooth development on curve, assembling its core engine reliably on Turn 4 and threatening lethal board presence on Turn 5. While the deck lacks unconditional tutors and infinite combos, its deep card draw and redundant synergies ensure high operational resilience and steady mid-game pressure.
