Mono Equipment by Zaifa

Format: Commander

Commander: Whiplash, Vengeful Engineer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Whiplash, Vengeful Engineer is a mono-black Equipment-voltron drain deck. The primary plan is to attach as many Equipment as possible to Whiplash, then attack to make every opponent lose life equal to the number attached. The deck accelerates this with Hammer of Nazahn, Brass Squire, and Swordsman, Sharp Scoundrel to attach Equipment for free, then protects Whiplash with hexproof, shroud, indestructible, and instant-speed tricks. There is no infinite combo; the most explosive growth comes from Bloodforged Battle-Axe plus Brass Knuckles. Secondary paths are Gray Merchant devotion and Vorpal Sword one-shot kills, but all reliable wins still flow through Whiplash attacking. Ronin, Shadow Stalker and Swordsman are support pieces, not hidden commanders.
