Deck overview

This deck is an explosive 5-color Dragon tribal beatdown engine commanded by The Ur-Dragon. Leveraging the commander's Eminence ability to discount all Dragon spells by one mana from the command zone, the deck accelerates through dense low-mana ramp (Sol Ring, Birds of Paradise, Bloom Tender, Farseek) and cost-reducers (Urza's Incubator, Dragonspeaker Shaman) into formidable mid-game threats. By Turn 4, it establishes potent engines such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Sneak Attack, or Hellkite Courser, quickly escalating into a critical Turn 5 onset. Threat multipliers like Utvara Hellkite, Atarka, World Render, and Terror of the Peaks rapidly overwhelm opposing life totals with flying damage, direct burn, and token swarms, closing the game on Turn 6 across a single response cycle. The deck maintains high resilience through redundant threats and selective protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Dragonlord Dromoka, while asymmetric sweepers like Crux of Fate and Desolation of Smaug clear opposing boards without hindering dragon development.
