Aragorn, fellowship(ish) by user8090522

Format: Commander

Commander: Aragorn, the Uniter

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a four-color voltron deck built around Aragorn, the Uniter. The primary plan is to suit Aragorn with auras and equipment that grant unblockable, trample, hexproof, and double strike, then use his green-spell trigger to pump him +4/+4 and his red trigger to deal direct damage. Extra combat steps from Finest Hour and double-strike enablers like Rafiq of the Many let Aragorn kill opponents with commander damage in a single turn cycle. The deck also generates incidental value from Aragorn's white and blue triggers (soldier tokens and scry 2). A dense protection suite of counterspells, free interaction, and phasing effects keeps Aragorn on the battlefield through removal and board wipes.
