Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger/artifact-synergy deck is helmed by Breeches, the Blastmaker, a goblin pirate who turns every second spell each turn into a coin-flip gamble: win the flip and copy the spell, lose and deal damage equal to its mana value. The deck's primary plan is to generate a critical mass of Treasure tokens and other artifacts, then leverage affinity, improvise, and cost reducers to chain cheap spells and cast explosive finishers. Win conditions include overwhelming combat damage from evasive artifact creatures like Kappa Cannoneer and Broodstar, direct damage from Crackle with Power or Jaya's Immolating Inferno, and incremental commander damage from Breeches himself. The deck also packs a robust coin-flip subtheme with Krark's Thumb and Tavern Scoundrel to tilt the odds in its favor.
