Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis discard and resource-denial control strategy commanded by Kefka, Court Mage. The game plan revolves around turning symmetric discard effects into asymmetric card advantage and tempo. Early turns focus on establishing mana acceleration and continuous discard enchantments such as Waste Not and Bottomless Pit. Once Kefka enters the battlefield, each player discards a card while Kefka draws multiple replacement cards based on the card types discarded. The deck quickly strips opponents of interaction using cards like Oppression, Delirium Skeins, and Painful Quandary. As opposing hands are decimated, payoffs like Tergrid, God of Fright, Archfiend of Ifnir, and Bone Miser turn discarded resources into a massive board presence, extra mana, and one-sided board wipes. Victory is achieved by locking opponents out of options and closing the game with reanimated threats, Zombie armies, and life-drain effects.
