How Tataru got her Groove back! by user3261007

Format: Commander

Commander: Tataru Taru

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-white group-hug Treasure and lifegain deck helmed by Tataru Taru. The core plan uses political draw spells and symmetric engines to feed Tataru's once-per-turn off-turn draw trigger and Smothering Tithe, minting Treasures while the deck pads its life total through Soul Warden, Authority of the Consuls, and related pieces. Those resources fuel two primary finishes: resolving Approach of the Second Sun twice, or draining and outsizing the table with Psychosis Crawler, Scrawling Crawler, and lifegain-to-counters payoffs such as Nykthos Paragon, Sunbond, and Aerith Gainsborough. Pillowfort (Ghostly Prison, Archangel of Tithes, Blind Obedience) buys time, while light recursion and flicker (Sun Titan, Teleportation Circle, Emeria, the Sky Ruin) restock value. The commander is a cheap, recastable engine that converts multiplayer card flow into mana, but the 99 still functions through Tithe and the lifegain suite if Tataru is answered.
