kruphix group hug by user1329151

Format: Commander

Commander: Kruphix, God of Horizons

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kruphix is a Simic big-mana bank: ramp lands, multiply them with Heartbeat of Spring, Mana Reflection, or Nyxbloom Ancient, then convert unspent colored mana into colorless through the commander. The primary finish is Psychosis Crawler plus a huge Mathemagics, and the deck is built to reach that one-turn drain rather than to attack. Backup plans use Hydra Broodmaster tokens, Doppelgang copies of engines, and Reins of Power or Mass Manipulation. Kruphix also removes the hand-size limit, letting the deck stockpile cards while banking mana. There is no hidden commander; Psychosis Crawler is the closest thing to one.
