Deck overview

This Gruul deck leverages Aerid Konstrari to establish a resilient, mana-dense engine built around artifact tokens. By deploying 1-mana dorks and 2-mana ramp spells, the deck reliably casts its commander on Turn 3, generating Heartwood tokens that produce red or green mana. These artifact tokens fuel explosive mid-game turns where secondary token generators like Roxanne, Starfall Savant and Tireless Provisioner widen the board. The deck pivots into a lethal threat on Turn 5 by casting massive overrun threats such as Depthshaker Titan and Craterclaw Colossus, which scale directly with artifact counts to grant trample, haste, and massive power boosts. Incidental burn pieces like Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist whittle down opposing life totals as tokens enter, ensuring combat damage cleanly finishes the table on Turn 6. While vulnerable to mass artifact exile and light on reactive interaction, its dense acceleration and interchangeable threats deliver consistent, aggressive pressure.
